Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers for the community.

SASSA will probably be rendering providers for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, client treatment enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency claimed it can be alarmed concerning the higher quantity of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The aim of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a high range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This really is because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no absolutely functional office devoted to service the area on a regular basis. The provider position produced for intervention experiences a significant influx of possible beneficiaries, that makes it tough with the office to attend to all people who stop by a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional methods to SRD permit the servicing of all consumers and improve access to Social Assistance services,” the agency said.
